We Offer You Our 5-Step Process
So You Understand Exactly What's Next

Discovery

1

Let’s talk – give us a call! You’ll have a complimentary    phone interview with our principal designer, Karen Miller.

Here you will have the opportunity to present your thoughts about your project and what it might include. During this call, you will receive a lot of input and ideas based on the answers to her questions.

We will l also need to discuss budget though it may feel premature, it is very helpful to establish a target range before getting too far into design details.

If we agree that we will be a good fit, we then set up a site visit so we can see the property in person. Lastly, you will receive a written proposal outling the scope of work for the design phase.

Detailed Design

After you accept our design proposal, we will have the property measured to produce our as-built site plan.

You will also receive a curated selection of photos to illustrate our concepts, materials, plants, etc. This is presented in an online format so you can view it and share it as often as you like.

After you make your choices of what appeals to you, we will begin the detailed design work.

Budgeting

It is of utmost importance to us that we create a design that is within your budget.  We start with a rough budget very early on. Once approved, it helps us shape the details of your project and avoids creating a plan that is out of reach.

After the detailed design is completed, we will provide a written itemization of all costs involved for installation, as well as a timeline. Design details will also include a hydrazone map for the irrigation layout as well as a lighting plan.

Implementation

Once our budget is finalized it is time for the dirty work to begin. But before commencing, you will be provided with a contract that spells out our warranties and gives you a timeline for both work and when payments are due.

The scope of work varies dramatically from project to project as it depends on the elements. Are we building a shade pergola and outdoor kitchen? Installing flagstone patios or brick? Or are we focused on planting mostly with some minor touches, such as a small seating area or fountain?

Whatever the list includes, you can depend on us to manage your project for you and keep you up to date.

If we need electrical or plumbing work done, we have our own team of dedicated professionals who we have been working with for years, and will manage their schedule with our own, so you don’t need to worry about things getting done.

Now that your garden has been transformed it’s time to invite folks over   and enjoy outdoor dining, entertaining, relaxation, swimming or…the list goes on.

One thing we hear time and time again form our clients is that we changed the way they live and relate to their outdoor environment – in a very positive way!
